As a MINI Sales Advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of the automotive industry, promoting our largest ever model range. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be primarily responsible for generating sales of new vehicles to prospective purchasers, maximizing dealership profitability and maintaining an exceptional standard of customer care.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Initiating and maintaining relationships with customers through outbound sales activities
  • Taking customers through a thorough needs analysis, making suitable product recommendations and organizing test drives
  • Negotiating deals with customers
  • Accurately logging activities on the internal lead management system
  • Generating leads for MINI Financial Services and the Aftersales Team
  • Delivering sold vehicles personally to ensure quality service and to generate referrals
  • Conducting business development and networking activities to generate sales

Specific skills required

  • Prior automotive sales experience preferred but not required, we are willing to train and develop the right person
  • Experience representing a luxury brand helpful but not necessary
  • Self-driven and motivated to achieve results
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience generating and/or building a loyal client base highly regarded
  • Knowledge of current trends and news, plus a strong desire to learn more and do more

As a MINI Product Genius, you’ll share your knowledge of and expertise in the newest advances in MINI automotive and communication technology – breaking down features and illustrating benefits in non-technical terms for customers with varying degrees of technical expertise. By delivering exceptional customer service, you’ll strengthen our customers’ trust in the MINI brand while building a foundation for a rewarding career at MINI.

We welcome self-driven, motivated candidates with:
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong written communication and professional phone skills
Experience representing a luxury brand (helpful but not required)
Background in product marketing – ie, social media presence and event
Retail experience and a bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred)

Responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Relationships
  • Greeting all customers that visit our dealership with a warm welcome
  • Informing customers of product specifications for all MINI products and features
  • Partnering with each customer to conduct a needs analysis
  • Product Knowledge
  • Managing the Encore process
  • Maintaining current product knowledge
  • Supporting the Client Advisor during the sales consultation
  • Servicing as the main point of contact and answering questions about product functions/usage
  • Team Support
  • Assist with sale events and representing our MINI Center at marketing events
  • Working with management to ensure teams are informed on new products
  • Ensuring that customers receive an invitation to review us on social media
  • Calling customers the day after the sale to thank them and invite them in for their Encore
  • Asking for and relaying customer purchase feedback and improving our online reputation
  • Enrolling MINI Assist for all sold vehicles
  • Assisting with Due Bill items with service, using the Encore as the final delivery for any items
