Hold On Tight with the MINI GP3
The MINI GP3 is more than a fan favorite; it’s a power hungry sports car ready to eat up your roads.
It’s one thing to test drive the MINI GP3, but it’s a whole other thing to receive a driver from MINI USA. While we tend to go gentle on the vehicles we wish to sell, we can drive the ones from MINI a little… harder. And that’s just what we did. We took the daily driver out for a spin around North County San Diego, specifically through Elfin Forest Road and up to Double Peak Park. The drive did not disappoint.
The MINI GP3 is a Head Turner
It’s difficult to imagine a more unique MINI. With its large rear spoiler and aggressive lines, everyone stops and stares at this legend as it roars by on these large track-ready wheels. The dark grey body and bright red lines accentuate the drive and further emphasize the fact that this car means business. And while it’s certainly not a family car, it’s one every minivan driving dad is sure to long for.
The MINI GP3 is Power Refined
We all know the start-up sound a typical MINI makes, with it’s perfect little chime from within the cabin–it always puts a smile on your face, right? Here’s the thing: you barely notice it over the roar of the engine as it starts. As soon as that happens, you know we mean business. This thing has over 300 hp with its MINI TwinPower Turbo engine, setting a new benchmark in the small car segment. Wait; that’s not right. Seriously. It’s not even possible. There isn’t anything else like it, so it stands alone.
The MINI GP3 is Pure Fun
For those of you who are looking to get into a MINI, you know we have the new Hardtop 2 Door. If you are looking for something with a little extra space, the Countryman sits higher and rides longer, while the Clubman is all about storage. But if you’re looking for a little something special that’ll put a smile on your face, then the MINI GP3 is right for you. You won’t be bringing your family to the beach in it, but whoever you bring with you will love you for it!
